The Veteran Golfers Association hosted their National Championship on October 12 - 15, 2025, Olympia Fields Country Club, Olympia Fields, Illinois. At the heart of the resort are two 18-hole courses, North & South, designed by noted golf course architects Willie Park Jr and Tom Bendelow.
For the fifth year in a row, the VGA has commissioned Cassy Tully, golf artist and philanthropist, to create an 18 X 24” painting of these beautiful championship courses.
Founded in 1915, by 1925 the club boasted four 18-hole courses and the largest private clubhouse in the world with an 80-foot, four faced clock tower visible to golfers from all four first tees. The grandeur of Olympia Fields was remarkable even to Herbert Warren Wind, America's leading golf historian, who, in his landmark work, the Story of American Golf, marveled at this unparalleled expression of the spirit of the Golden Age.
This painting was also reproduced as Limited Edition Commemorative Prints, signed and numbered.
About Cassy
Each Cassy Tully original painting is meticulously created using her signature relief-painting technique. Based on her research of Italian relief sculpting, she blends traditional sculpting techniques with modern acrylic painting methods.
Cassy recently created the commemorative artwork for the Milwaukee Brewers' 50th Anniversary, and her championship golf art includes working with the PGA of America, PGA Reach, Western Golf Association/Evans Scholars Foundation, United States Golf Association, Veteran Golfers Association, and the Arnold Palmer Foundation. She created the Official Artwork for the 43rd Ryder Cup, which took place at Whistling Straits Golf Course.
Cassy’s art is showcased at iconic golf clubs and destinations, including the Union League of Philadelphia and Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, AZ. Her art is available in Kohler, WI, at Whistling Straits, Blackwolf Run, The American Club, the Kohler Waters Spa, and Riverbend.
Fourteen Pro Football Hall of Famers signed her commemorative painting honoring the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s “Salute to Greatness” event, benefitting the Beyond Sports Foundation.
Her work also includes a partnership with XXIO, who welcomed her to its annual XXIO Dealer Conference at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina and Whistling Straits in Kohler, WI, along with the Father-Son Golf Tournament at Pebble Beach, six-time host of the U.S. Open Championship and the number one public golf course and resort in America.
It is Cassy’s mission to use her talents to give back and inspire others.
