Cassy Tully Creates Commemorative Painting Depicting Fallen Oak Golf Course for 2026 VGA National Championship

Biloxi, Mississippi — October 2026 — The Veteran Golfers Association (VGA) hosted its 2026 National Championship October 4–7 at Fallen Oak Golf Course, the exclusive golf course of Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. To commemorate the championship, the VGA commissioned sports and lifestyle artist Cassy Tully to create an original 12-by-24-inch painting celebrating the iconic course and its distinctive natural beauty.

The painting features the stately Fallen Oak clubhouse, with its expansive windows framing a spectacular view of the majestic oak tree that inspired the course’s name. Tully’s composition captures the tranquil atmosphere of the property, with soft mist rising from the water near the 18th hole and the warm glow of the clubhouse illuminating the landscape.

A magnificent oak anchors the scene, its rich textures contrasting beautifully with a luminous evening sky filled with soft pinks and delicate opal-colored clouds. The result is a serene and evocative portrait of Fallen Oak that reflects both the artistry of the course and the spirit of the VGA championship.

“I am pleased to continue supporting the VGA and their dedication to enriching the lives of Veterans and their family members through golf,” said Tully. “As I painted, I let my brush be inspired by the commitment our Veterans have made to serve our country, creating the colors of the sky especially as a source of hope and solace.”

Designed by renowned golf course architect Tom Fazio, Fallen Oak thoughtfully incorporates the land’s original contours and natural elements into an 18-hole, par-72 championship layout. Tully’s painting celebrates Fazio’s respect for the surrounding landscape while highlighting the harmony of light, water, architecture, and nature that defines the course.

The original painting was also reproduced as a 12-by-24-inch limited-edition commemorative print, signed and numbered by the artist. Tully attended the VGA Champions Dinner on October 7, where members and guests had the opportunity to meet her, have prints personalized, and learn more about her championship golf artwork.

“The impact of these events on Veterans and their loved ones is tremendous,” said Tully. “Being part of the patriotism and ongoing support of the VGA in bringing together Veterans and the wider golf community is inspiring.”
